Girlvolution 2017
Calling All: Youth + Allies of All Gender Identities
Girlvolution is a Powerful Voices production that invites the community to participate in collective dialogue and restorative change facilitated by youth voice and agency. Our Activistas program is a 12 week employment program for 10 girls who will be supported by 10 Adult Allies to create and present an interactive workshop on a social justice topic that impacts them and their community.
This year we are proud to be featuring art from Coyote Central, spoken word poetry from Youth Speaks Seattle and Young Women Empowered (Y-WE), and workshops by Y-WE. This is our 8th year!
