Pink Boots Society Beer Tasting
A chance for women to taste and talk about beer! The Pink Boots Society beer tasting is hosted by local beer enthusiasts Sarah McKinney and Jen McFerrin. You will be walked through the spectrum of beer styles with delicious nibbles available that draw out the flavors of the beer and enhance the experience! This is a chance for women to gather together and celebrate beer and each other. Whether you are a seasoned beer drinker or just getting started, there will surely be a style to fit your tastes!
Jen McFerrin landed her dream job working for a brewery just about a year ago. A love of beer and the local craft beer community paired with her background in graphic design, advertising, and sales - prepared her as well as one can be prepared for the task of marketing Eel River Brewing Co. She moved here for college and never *really* left, and is proud to call Humboldt County home.
Sarah McKinney is a local theater creator, teacher, and beer enthusiast. She moved to Humboldt County to pursue her dream of getting an MFA in theatre and is now a proud graduate from DellArte International. Not long after relocating Sarah met Theodore Brown and collaborated with him to create Arcatas world tap-house, Dead Reckoning Tavern.
