Theatre Lunatico presents Macbeth

Theatre Lunatico presents Macbeth, the second production in our Shoebox Shakespeare Series. With our ensemble of thirteen actors, we have set our Macbeth in WWI, and draw parallels between Macbeth's thirst for power and the current political climate in the U.S. Tyranny, it seems, is descending on us. As crude corruption stalks the corridors of power, it truly does appear that, "our country sinks beneath the yoke. It weeps, it bleeds."
By telling the tragedy of Macbeth in our small, bare bones way, Theatre Lunatico continues to promote intimate, connected theatre, emphasizing the beauty and struggles of the human condition through timeless storytelling.
