This two-day training will prepare participants to plan and facilitate basic talking circles within various contexts.
Participants will experience and practice the circle process and learn about its theoretical underpinnings, key components, core principles, and best practices for both planning and facilitation of talking circles. The peace circle process draws from both ancient practices and modern processes to create trust, intimacy, goodwill, belonging, generosity, and reciprocity. This circle process is a powerful approach for building strong relationships, hold authentic dialogues and bring about what Dr. Martin Luther King called the beloved community.
