"Well-behaved" historical women were those who did not threaten the status quo, lived their lives without upsetting the social mores of their times, did as they were told, and stayed in their places. This show is NOT about those women!
This show is about a bunch of passionate, unconventional, trailblazing women who may have been maligned in their time, but inspired some passionate, unconventional, trailblazing modern burlesque and variety artists to pay tribute to them and give them the recognition they deserve! They may not have been saints, and some of them are still surrounded by controversy, but their brave, rebellious spirits will be honoured to unforgettable effect onstage.
This is the perfect time to celebrate women who refused to do as they were told! Come and be inspired!
