WENDY TAYLOR
-----------------------------------------------------------
"Namaste Motherfuckers"

When my father got sick with cancer, I moved to New York City to take care of him. It wasn't easy.  Once in a while, I would swipe a morphine pill...or 2, or 3, and visit my friend Travis in Chelsea. We'd do the morphine, drink some white wine and watch "Sex in the City.  It's ok to use a little morphine when you're 40 and living on a pullout sofa while caring for your Dad who has cancer, isn't it?

BRUCE PACHTMAN
-----------------------------------------------------------
"So, when did you start speaking in the 3rd person?"

A man just said, "Thank you" to Bruce and for some reason, Bruce is unable to say "You're welcome"?"  Is Bruce in a bad mood?  Is he distracted? Or is it that the man who just said, "Thank you"  is a legend. One of the biggest legends, in fact, in the history of rock music.  Why would one of the biggest rock legends in history be thanking Bruce?

BETH MCLAUGHLIN
-----------------------------------------------------------
"Cocky"

In third grade, we were all encouraged to get ID bracelets with our name, address and phone numbers on them -- for when our small bodies were found after a Hiroshima-like blast, I guess, though we also had the Zodiac Killer --  and mine had some guy with a nimbus-like halo on the front, while Jenny Hill's only had rainbows and flowers, and mine said, "St. Christopher, protect us in our travels; In case of an accident, notify a priest." So, I guess, yes, technically, in a nuclear war, I am a Catholic.

RON JONES
-----------------------------------------------------------
"Naked Zombies"

I'm standing naked in front of Helen Ludwig McGill's drawing group. Problem is, there is no drawing group. Just Helen and her cat named Ralph. At age 65, what in hell am I doing? I blame the red speedos!
