Orchestra Miami presents Atonement
Orchestra Miami proudly presents the Florida premiere of Atonement, a cantata in three movements on the plight of the Jewish people, by Marvin David Levy. Atonement is composed for orchestra, choir, soloists and narrator with text based on and adapted from the Chronicles of Josephus, the Sabbath and Festival Prayer Books. Artistic Director Elaine Rinaldi will conduct the 50 professional musicians of Orchestra Miami, with special guest soloists internationally renowned soprano Elizabeth Caballero and Michael Hendrick, heldentenor.
Atonement is presented as part of Orchestra Miami's "Discover Miami Through Music" series, and will be performed on Sunday, April 23rd, 2017, 4:00 PM at Temple Israel of Greater Miami, 137 NE 19 Street, Miami, 33132.
