Wine Heritage Lunch at the Mendocino County Museum
You are cordially invited to the Third Annual Wine Heritage Event, a celebration of the history of wine-making in Mendocino County, on Sunday, November 4, 2012, at 12:30 PM. This will mark the official launch of our new book, Mendocino Roots & Ridges: Wine Notes from America's Greenest Wine Region. Author Heidi Cusick Dickerson and Photographer Tom Liden will talk about the unique wines and historic wineries profiled in the book. The event is a fundraiser for the Mendocino County Museum to support its Wine History Project, which collects vintage agricultural and wine-making equipment, as well as archival materials, and records oral histories of grape-growers and vintners. A wonderful catered lunch will be served with a variety of Mendocino wines, beer, and other beverages. Tickets are $35 per adult in advance, and $40 the day of the event. It is strongly recommended that tickets be purchased in advance.
