Comedy at the Grove with Derik Zoo
Comedy at the Grove is back for it's first show in 2017! Join us for a night full of laughs with the hilarious Derik Zoo. Also featuring is the lovely Gail Grantham and hosting is Knoxville's Michael Shibley. You must be 18 to enter and 21 to consume alcoholic beverages. IDs will be checked at the door!

Being born to a militant Muslim father and a Southern Christian woman would make anyone need therapy. Derik Zoo has turned his therapy into stand-up comedy. Known for his charismatic personality and relatable commentary, Derik connects with his audience in a way that makes them think and laugh.
Derik co-starred in the critically acclaimed independent film Bethlehem last year and has been featured on the ABC hit show Nashville. He performs in clubs, colleges, and corporate shows all over the South and Midwest. He loves hugs and hi-fives, so don't be afraid to give him either after a show.

Gail Grantham is a stand up comedian from Knoxville Tn. with a quirky, irreverent take on Life, Love, and the Pursuit of Happiness. Fueled by Sugar Free Redbull and Tacos she'sdetermined to remain The Queen in her personal Hillbilly Game of Thrones.

Michael Shibley has been performing comedy since 2012 in and around Knoxville. He loves to bring his energy onto the stage. He has been a host or performer at all three Scruffy City Comedy Festivals. Michael has performed with Trae Crowder, Jenn Snyder, Carlos Valencia, Krish Mohan, and Joe Pettis. Plus local favorites J.C. Ratliff, Jay Kendrick, Boston McCown, Lance Adams, and many more.
