Returning a Kindness
The theme Returning a Kindness will be used to showcase aspects of the Japanese attitude and how they tie the culture together.
Our workshop will expose you to Japanese culture through a variety of activities and reveal the interconnected nature that helps to create and reinforce the distinctive aesthetics, attitude and feeling of the Japanese culture.
You will experience the culture through arts and crafts, language, music, and food.
Greetings and common phrases.
The written language kanji, hiragana and katakana
Folk songs and dance
Distinctive art and craft forms
The taste of Japan
Open to Adults and children ages 7-12
