THE WIZ
Saratoga Springs High School Drama Club presents The Wiz. This contemporary version of L. Frank Baum's The Wonderful Wizard of Oz dazzles with a mix of rock, gospel, and soul music. The 1974 Broadway show won 7 Tony's including Best New Musical and 5 Drama Desk Awards including Outstanding Musical. Come watch Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tinman, and Lion as they travel to see the Wizard of Oz in search of self reliance, love, courage, and of course home. The show is appropriate for children of all ages.

Ticket prices: adults $12.00, Seniors, Students, and Children $7.00

THE WIZ is directed by Bob Berenis, with music direction by Casey Gray ,choreography by Leigh Berenis, and produced by Candace Calvin. About 80 students representing grades 9-12 are featured in the cast, crew and orchestra.
