Despite the quartet's relatively recent formation, its members have a longstanding history of mutual artistic collaboration. Even prior to Keith Hamm's founding of their namesake festival in his hometown of Rosebud, Alberta, he, Aaron Schwebel, and Sheila Jaffé collaborated at Music By The Sea in Bamfield, British Columbia, broadened their musical horizons at The International Musicians Seminar Prussia Cove in Cornwall UK, and performed at le Domaine Forget in Charlevoix Quebec.
