The Tarot Reading II

The Tarot Reading returns, this time hosted by our friends at Evening Star in Del Ray, VA.

The Tarot Reading is an evening of revels and revelations. It is a series of shows-for-one based on the Tarot mythos that span arts as diverse as hip-hop, poetry, dance, theater, games, yoga, cuisine, the occult, & much more. The Tarot Reading is engaging, whimsical and illuminating.

How does it work? This time, you can choose:

If you pick Major Arcana, you'll be dealt a card at random when you enter. During the show, when your card is called, you'll be invited to participate in a highly interactive performance created just for one person. Participants will also be invited to observe the remaining Major Arcana from afar.

If you pick Minor Arcana, you'll be assigned cups, swords, wands or pentacles. You'll be invited to observe the Major Arcana from afar, and participate in a small handful of activities made for your suit.

The only requirement is that it be something of value...your mom's bread recipe, that photo in your wallet, the secret you share with your middle school best friend. Get creative.***
