If you wish to process your own chicken, for $12 you may purchase a live rooster (raised at the Hathaway Ranch Museum) to dispatch, pluck, and process yourself. You can also purchase a hand-raised hen or tom turkey at $6/lb which will be processed for you. To purchase a chicken or turkey, contact Jollen Gibbs: clucknpeep@gmail.com or (626) 336-1033.
You will leave the workshop with practical skills, self-confidence, and a chicken or turkey for your Thanksgiving dinner.
