Lori Diamond & Fred Abatelli
Lori Diamond & Fred Abatelli are an acoustic force like no other. Soaring vocals and delicious harmonies abound as Fred deftly weaves thoughtful sounds from his acoustic Martin around Lori's orchestral piano work. These NYC & Boston natives have served as background musicians for a myriad of successful acts in their music careers, and their newest incarnation is a soulful acoustic, contemporary folk duo with jazz & gospel leanings. In recent years, they've accompanied Peter Yarrow of Peter Paul & Mary, Joan Osborne, Amy Ray of the Indigo Girls, John Gorka and so many other incredible artists. Their lyrics offer compelling themes like living an authentic life, effects of Karma and Soul's reunions. Lori & Fred will be accompanied by their long time talented friend, Kim Jennings. Born in suburban Massachusetts, Kim has been singing since the ripe old age of 5. The oldest of eight children in an Irish Catholic family in the Boston suburbs, Kim grew up listening to the music of Clancy Brothers, Jim Croce, and James Taylor. I didnt know it back then, but traditional Irish music and the 1970s singer-songwriters got deep into my heart, and now influence me in ways I never realized, says Kim of her musical influences. http://www.kimjenningsmusic.com/
