WILDSCAPING AMBASSADOR TRAIN-THE-TRAINER WORKSHOP
Attend our train-the-trainer workshop made possible by Audubon Rockies and Geothermal Greenhouse Partnership for hosting. We will engage and train volunteers on spreading the word about actively restoring natural habitat for birds, butterflies, and other pollinators by implementing water-wise and native gardens on our landscapes. Come enjoy meeting other fellow gardeners and learning the tools of the trade to deliver a presentation to your local garden center/nursery, garden clubs, community center, HOAs and more on the importance of creating native plant gardens that not only create a welcome place for birds, but benefit the environment and our communities too! **Special Notes: Attendees will receive a Wildscape Ambassador Handbook and invitation to our network sharing platform. Lunch Provided.

10:00 Opening Remarks Introductions. Importance of Wildscape Ambassadors and the long term vision and goals after todays training.
10:05 Habitat Hero: Wildscaping 101 Presentation Jamie Weiss, Audubon Rockies Habitat Hero Coordinator From a birds-eye view, learn how to create wildlife-friendly gardens that help combat the loss of open spaces and create green corridors that link your wildscape to larger natural areas by providing habitat for wildlife. 11:05 Grab Snacks + Raffle
11:15 Role Play Scenarios How do you ask garden centers and nurseries, garden clubs, HOAs and community organizations to host educational presentation? These role play scenarios will help demonstrate how easy it is! 11:30 Work Groups All As you break into work groups with a facilitator, review the best-practices manual and discuss potential questions with one another.
11:55 Wrap Up/Final Remarks All As Wildscape Ambassadors learn about all the benefits you will receive.
