Please join as Spruce on March 7th for a special winemaker dinner featuring the wines of renowned Burgundy producer Domaine de l'Arlot. Founded in 1987 with the former cellar-master of Domaine Dujac, Jean-Pierre de Smet, at the winemaking helm, this tiny estate has blossomed into one of the finest and most respected wineries in the heart of the Côte dOr. The vineyards have been farmed biodynamically in part since 2000 and entirely from 2003. Domaine de l'Arlot is primarily located in Nuits-Saint-Georges with two Premier Cru monopole vineyards, Clos de l'Arlot and Clos des Fôrets Saint Georges. They also have holdings in the Vosne-Romanée Premier Cru, Les Suchots, and the Grand Cru, Romanée-Saint-Vivant. They are also known for their small production of white wine, a rarity in Nuits-Saint-Georges. Joining us from the Domaine will be Géraldine Godot, who took over as winemaker in 2014. These lovely wines will be paired with a special menu crafted by Chef Mark Sullivan and Spruces new Chef de Cuisine, Steven Pelas.
