This ensemble piece intermingles the legendary storybook characters of Jack (the one with the Beanstalk), Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel, & co. together for the first time in the woods, all searching for their own happy ever after. They come to find that wishes are chancy and things that what one covets may cause trouble for another. The brilliant writing team, Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine, give us a play that explores community reaction to disaster and the task of teaching humanity.

Question: |
Hello, My daughters would love to see this performance of "Into the Woods." They are not yet 12 years of age; so I am writing for permission to have them attend. They are quite familiar with the show as well as well versed in the conduct expected during a live theatre performance. Please let me know as soon as possible so that I may purchase the appropriate number of tickets. |
Answer: |
Hello, I'm Devyn from Cap & Bells. We would absolutely love to have you and your daughters at the show! The age is meant as a warning for people who aren't familiar with the show to make clear that it is far from a traditional fairytale story! I hope you and your family enjoy the show! If you have any more questions, feel free to contact me personally at djh1@williams.edu. |

Question: |
Hi - which tickets should I buy for teenagers in local public schools? student or general? thanks. |
Answer: |
The reduced student ticket prices are just for Williams students, because of the College's agreement with the Clark, so you should buy general tickets. Hope to see you at the show! |
