Interact Theater presents Madame Josette's Naughty and Nice Cabaret
PLEASE NOTE: FRIDAY, DECEMBER 21 WILL BE AN ASL INTERPRETED PERFORMANCE.
This year's holiday show revisits one of Interact's most beloved productions of all times: Madame Josette's Cabaret. It is turn-of-the-century Paris and Madame Josette and Toulouse Lautrec are the stars of a cabaret full of wonderfully quirky misfits that have traveled through time and space to share their songs and stories that speak to the heart of what it means to be human. The production's talented and fascinating cast of characters is led by the unforgettable Josette Antomarchi as Madame Josette and her soulmate, the famous painter Toulouse Lautrec, played by Interact veteran artist, the one-and-only Billy "T" Tomaszewski. Also joining the Interact artists with and without disabilities is award-winning comic actor from Algeria, Mohamed Yabdri.
Madame Josette's Naughty and Nice Cabaret is filled with beautifully poetic and wildly comic moments featuring physical comedy, dance and memorable songs inspired by French chansons from Edif Piaf to Charles Trenet, written by Ivey award winning composer Aaron Gabriel.
With stories of joy, love and illumination to celebrate the spirit of the season, the experience continues with the Great Big Holiday Art Sale in the Gallery. Open before and after each performance.
