Wild and Scenic Film Festival 2017 with GARNA and Central Colorado Conservancy!
The Greater Arkansas River Nature Association and Central Colorado Conservancy are partnering once again as your community leaders for bringing the Wild and Scenic Film Festival, a renowned tour of the latest, cutting-edge environmental films to Buena Vista and Salida. Both evenings promise two different line-ups of environmental and adventure films that illustrate the Earth's beauty, the challenges facing our planet and the work communities are doing to protect the environment. Through these films, Wild & Scenic informs people about the state of the world and inspires them to take action. Considered one of the nation's premiere environmental and adventure film festivals, this year's films combine stellar film making, beautiful cinematography and first-rate storytelling!
There are a variety of ticket choices and combinations, including membership incentives for those who are new to join either GARNA or the Conservancy. The March 17 showing will be at the Buena Vista Community Center, at 715 E. Main Street, Buena Vista, CO, 81211. The March 18 showing will include a completely different line-up of films at the Salida Steamplant Theater at 220 West Sackett Ave., Salida, CO, 81201. Doors open at 6:15 pm both nights, unless you are joining us for a special VIP event, and films start at 7:00 pm. Food, beverages and popcorn will be available for purchase each night.
Tickets will also available at Salida Steamplant and Buena Vista Chamber of Commerce. Stay tuned for details on when those will be available. Call 719-539-5106 or email dominique@garna.org with questions.
