Petticoats and Kilts

A historic dance extravaganza showcasing French, Central European and Scottish dances from the Victorian era through the early 20th century in full costume: featuring Bay Area historic dance performance groups Danse Libre, the Dunsmuir Scottish Dancers, and Knotts Dance Company.

These groups together comprise over fifty dancers who bring these colorful and lively traditions to life on stage. Seating is limited and there are only two shows. Friday evening will be the "Petticoats and Kilts" program including twenty pieces from Danse Libre, and sixteen from Dunsmuir which also has live music.

The Saturday afternoon show "Petticoats and Tailcoats" will feature twenty-three pieces from Danse Libre plus two from Knotts Dance Company.

Online ticket sales close 12 hours before the event. Tickets will also be available at the door ($25 General/$20 Student) but it is cheaper to purchase online.
