Bradford Loomis - "Bravery and the Bell"
Bradford Loomis returns to Thumbnail Theater showcasing music from his new CD - Bravery and the Bell.
Bravery and the Bell, the first solo album from Bradford Loomis of The Banner Days since 2013, releases March 24th amidst a series of tours across the United States and Canada.
Upon learning recently that his father was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's disease, Bradford started laying the ground work for this new project. Bravery and the Bell is about legacy, both the lineage we are born into and that which we pass on. Whether burdened or buoyed by our generational inheritance, this album confronts the drudgery of simply surviving and sounds a call to stand up to the things that stand in the way of us truly passionately pursuing that which we were made to be.
With swelling crescendos, soulful intensity, and the combination of grit and blue-eyed soul, Bradford's new album calls to mind Chris Stapleton and Marc Broussard. Having supported artists like Ben Gibbard, Jamestown Revival, Joseph, Penny and Sparrow, Courtney Marie Andrews, Tyler Hilton and Marc Broussard, Bradford is eager to hit the road. The Let's Be Brave tour, with legs throughout 2017, celebrates this new album with stops all across the United States. Every show promises soulful performances wrapped around stories from the heart, making a powerfully vulnerable experience.
