Having recorded previous album These Mountain Blues live directly to analogue tape in the Tolbooth Auditorium, Stirling, critical acclaim flooded in with a number of Radio DJs including BBC Scotlands Iain Anderson setting tracks on regular rotation. A busy 2016 schedule followed with performances at Glasgow Americana, Belladrum, Summertyne and Southern Fried festivals.
The forthcoming full-length album Bare Along The Branches was duly recorded in the same manner, showing more of his alt-folk & country stylings. His songwriting is raw, honest and has been likened to that of many cult folk heroes including Townes Van Zandt, Dick Gaughan, Son Volt and Martyn Joseph.
