School of Classical Ballet's Repertory Company Performance
From ballet to musical theatre, modern to jazz, join us for The School of Classical Ballets first-ever Repertory Company performance, an evening of upbeat, spirited, and contemplative dances.
The festivities will also include guest performances, a raffle to raise money for scholarships, and a chance for the audience to learn a phrase or two of the infectious choreography performed by the Rep. Co. students. The show takes place March 24th and 25th at 8:00pm in the Julie Ince Thompson Theatre at The Dance Complex, 536 Massachusetts Ave. Central Square, Cambridge.
The School of Classical Ballet's Repertory Company is a performance based program, giving middle school students the opportunity to work with local professional choreographers in a variety of dance styles. This year's show features modern, ballet, musical theatre and jazz pieces choreographed by Peter DiMuro, Executive Director of The Dance Complex, Josie Bray, Producer of the new Broadway-aimed production Trevor: The Musical, premiering at the Chicago Writers Theatre in 2017, and Natalia Maldari, SOCB faculty and Assistant Rehearsal Director of the Repertory Company, and the Rep. Co. students themselves.
