THE WORLD MIGHT BE ENDING / I AM SORRY / ILY
What would it mean to elevate loneliness to the status of national tragedy? How are we simultaneously more connected and more isolated than ever? What if we are in a traumatic relationship with the internet? What would it mean to be honest about the parts of ourselves we are told to conceal?
This is a creative workshop hosted by trans performance artist Alok Vaid-Menon. Through a series of (experimental) guided writing, theater, and performance exercises we will explore digital alienation, apocalypse, loss, feelings, and desire.
All artistic backgrounds are welcome. Queers and trans people are especially invited to join.
