Barbara Kessler at the Homegrown Coffeehouse
It has been a long time -- twelve years -- since Barbara Kessler has done serious touring. She emerged last year at the Homegrown Coffeehouse, and what a thrill for her fans! We have invited her back knowing that we were only seeing the leading edge of wave of musical creativity that has been building during her time off the road. Barbara Kessler feels most alive when she's on stage performing in front of an audience. "Music has always been the single most powerful way for me to express myself," she says. Her honest, engaging lyrics reflect the human condition, the universal experiences people share but have been socialized not to reveal. "I want my audience to feel like we're having an intimate conversation in a living room," says Barbara. "An opportunity to connect in a seamless, heartfelt way."
She's back, with a pile of new songs, a new CD , and a burning desire to be back in front of audiences. BARBARA KESSLER at the Homegrown Coffeehouse, Saturday, October 27 at 8:00 P.M.
