POST-DISASTER SAFETY EVALUATION OF BUILDINGS
This TNSAVE training class on Procedures for Post-Disaster Safety Evaluation of Buildings will take place on October 25, 2017, in Chattanooga at the Hamilton County Emergency Management Office. Cost to attend is $75 (plus a handling charge) if you are a member of a TNSAVE Coalition partner (ASCE, AIA, SAME, TSEA, ACEC, AGC, TSPE, and ASCE Geo-Institute) and $125 for non-members. Lunch will be provided as part of the fee. Licensed architects and engineers will receive 7 professional development hours for attending. To be eligible to volunteer to perform building evaluations for TEMA following a disaster, you must have had this training or an approved alternate within the last 3 years.
