Third Annual Geoffrey Castle Celtic Community Concert
GEOFFREY CASTLE'S CELTIC CHRISTMAS COMMUNITY CONCERT
The group that Castle has assembled for this year's performance is truly extraordinary, including a return appearance by the nationally renowned Celtic dance and song trio the Gothard Sisters and a very special appearance by the masterful Mac McDonald as Santa Claus. Special guest artists this year are Steve Fossen ( bassist for HEART and recent nominee to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame) and vocalist Somar Macek of Heart by Heart.
Be sure to come early or reserve your seats in advance for this wonderful event so popular last year that we filled the Transit Shed to capacity!
Castle and friends will present two shows this year, a 4:00 p.m. Matinee suitable for families with younger children and seniors, and a all ages evening concert at 7:00 p.m. following the Annual Christmas Boat Parade. There will be food vendors, beverage vendors and a beer garden at both performances.
When: December 15th, 2012. Where: Port of Anacortes Transit Shed Event Center. Time: Children's Matinee 4:00 pm. Evening Concert 7:00 pm. following the Christmas Boat Parade.
Cost to the Public: FREE with a suggested donation to Toys for Tots, Local Food Banks or The Rick Epting Foundation for the Arts.
VIP Gold Circle Reserved seating is available for a suggested donation of $25 and can be purchased through Brown Paper Tickets 1.800.838.3006 www.brownpapertickets.com.
VIP Tickets are a tax deductible donation to the Rick Epting Foundation for the Arts.
The Port of Anacortes is donating the use of their facility: The Historic Transit Shed Events Center, 1st & Commercial Avenue. The Transit Shed will be open prior to and between concerts for viewing of the Anacortes Christmas Ship Parade which begins at approximately 5:30 p.m. in the Guemes Channel.
To keep this event free to the public, the producers of the event are offering sponsorship opportunities.
