Since abandoning his successful pizza delivery career in 2000, Gabriel's talent, hard work, and total lack of a fall back plan have all combined to make him one of North America's most exciting new headliners. In 2004 Gabriel was crowned the winner of the prestigious Seattle International Comedy Competition, where he was described as "perceptive and accessible, he does it all with a great deal of personal charm." In 2007 Gabriel was selected to perform at the HBO Comedy Festival in Las Vegas, and in 2008 made his debut on the nationally syndicated "Bob and Tom" radio show, as well as the "Bob and Tom" TV show on WGN America. Gabriel's material often takes an honest and self-deprecating look at his own life, including his marriage: "Really there is nothing better for you as a couple than to be out of shape. Eventually you just get to the point where you say, 'Well honey looks like we've eaten ourselves into a monogamous relationship.' And his finances: "Looks like my son is gonna get free school lunch just like his daddy...and his grandpa. We've got free school lunch all the way back to the Mayflower. It's a proud family. We came over on the short boat." Gabriel's CD "Self Titled" can be heard on the "Raw Dog" Comedy Channel on SiriusXM Satellite Radio.
