About the play: New York, 2004. Alejandro Arroyo owns the newest lounge in NYCs Lower East Side. His sister, Molly, has taken to writing graffiti on the wall of a local police precinct. Officer Derek is a recent NYC transplant with something to prove. Lelly Santiago is a socially awkward college student, who may have discovered a secret about Alejendro and Mollys mom that could forever change the history of hip-hop as we know it.
Two fresh DJs spin the story in this coming-of-age story about love, loss, and learning who your family is, by Pulitzer Prize finalist Kristoffer Diaz.
