"Dance with Me: The De-Evolution of Dance"
Written and Performed by Mary Theresa Archbold Directed by Kevin Laibson
Mary Theresa Archbold takes you on a booty shakin toe tappin electric slide through the De-Evolution of Dance. Waltz. Charleston. Macarena. Twerk. How we dance is who we are as a society. So stroll down memory lane through the iconic and moronic dances that have left an indelible mark on society -- and meet the people who did them. Current society is about to lose their ability to dance freely. In this dance comedy one girl fights back with the help of Dirty Dancing, Flashdance and Footloose because nobody puts Mary in a corner.

Visit the theater any evening during this three-week event, and you'll find yourself transported in a number of surprising ways: by a single performer embodying a whole host of characters; by a more experimental theater piece "done differently" that challenges and delights; by a cozy two-person show exploring relationships; or perhaps by a bouncy new musical that will have you humming. Emerging Artists has always been about new works, new talents, new voices. That's never been more evident than now.
NO REFUNDS will be granted.
