Celebrate New Year's Eve with Josh Kornbluth in Red Diaper Baby
7:00PM SHOW IS SOLD OUT! TIX ARE STILL AVAILABLE FOR 10 PM SHOW AND WILL ALSO BE AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR. General Seating - Doors open 45 minutes before each show.
Join Josh -- a man with a deep fear of transitions in trying to welcome 2013! Josh will celebrate the birth of a new year with his wildly comic coming-of-age tale RED DIAPER BABY. Thorny subjects as sex, politics and the possible overuse of baby powder are intertwined in this critically acclaimed one-man show about a young boy who believes he must grow up to lead a communist revolution in America! Kornbluth evokes early Woody Allen and the late Spalding Gray in this raucous and poignant celebration of a neurotic child's awkward yet heartfelt journey into adulthood.
"Fresh, funny, smart and tender" - Washington Post
"Infectious and Absorbing" - Variety
"A treasure! You emerge from RED DIAPER BABY as you do from a finely wrought novel, reluctant to let go of characters who have come to feel like new friends." - New York Newsday
"uncanny comic timing" - Robert Hurwitt, SF Gate
