Mark Erelli, Jake and Taylor Armerding
Jake Armerding, Taylor Armerding and Mark Erelli, three of New England's best and best-loved Americana singer-songwriters, will appear together on Dec. 1 at Temple Isaiah in Lexington, Mass.
Jake Armerding, who the Boston Globe called "the most gifted and promising songwriter to emerge from the Boston folk scene in years," has released five albums of original music and is releasing a sixth online under an audience-supported concept he calls Community Supported Art. Taylor Armerding was a founding member, front man and lead singer for the progressive bluegrass band Northern Lights for almost 30 years. He now plays with the Bluegrass Gospel Project and as a sideman for several other artists.
All three are members of the testosterone-laced bluegrass band Barnstar! - winner of an Iguana Fund grant from Club Passim that helped to fund their first album, "C'mon!"
