Art of the Wreath Holiday Party
Kick off the holiday season with Ambler Farm at the annual Art of the Wreath celebration. Enjoy a festive evening of music, mingling and merrymaking, a holiday boutique, a retro photobooth, and of course, bid on fabulous handmade wreaths to deck your halls during a silent auction that benefits Ambler Farm!
Sip bespoke cocktails by The Spread's very own Chris Hickey and nibble on savory passed bites by the inimitable Maria del Castillo of Bistro du Soleil.
Menu highlights include -- passed hors d'oeuvres:
Shrimp Shooters with Chilean Pebre (cilantro pesto)
Filet Mignon Negamaki (Japanese-style wrapped scallion) with Yuzu Ginger Dressing
Mushroom Duxelle, Cheese Phyllo Pastry
Sesame Chicken Skewer with Peanut Coconut Dipping Sauce
Chorizo Puffs
Galloping Horses (Thai-style Spiced Pork served on a spoon)
Miniature Beef Empanadas
Lamb Albondigas (meatballs) with Charmula (Spicy Moroccan Marinade)
Miniature Chipotle BBQ Pulled Pork Sliders
Miniature Vegetarian Tacos
and a plated station:
Paté, Cornichon, Capers and Assorted Breads
Antipasti w/Croutons and Crackers
Chris will pour signature cocktails "The Fog Horn" and "The Tea Bag." We'll also have a selection of winter beers, wine and sparkling water.
New this year -- select your own swag! Choose two decorative party favors to bring home: a colorful Tibetan felt ball garland; a "Cheers" or "Gather" burlap banner; or a pack of vintage-inspired holiday gift tags.
