Gypsy Cat Presents 'Duende'
Contemporary urban flamenco fusion music and dance in an intimate setting
(Hollywood, Fla.) The one night only event, scheduled for November 17, 2012 at 8pm in the intimate setting of the Unity Auditorium is a rare opportunity to see Gypsy Cat, one of Miami's most unique performance groups. Coming to Broward from their sold out performance this summer, Soulé, at the Miami Dade County Auditorium Onstage Blackbox, Gypsy Cat promises to ignite the senses and inspire the soul.
In flamenco tradition, duende is both muse and a divine spirit, touching creative expression when one is aligned with this powerful force. Join the Gypsy Cat band and guest artists as they open themselves to duende, sharing their distinctive fusion of music and dance genres. The talented world class artists of Gypsy Cat blend the sounds and rhythms of flamenco, jazz, blues, rock, and Latin American music. The band brings together the original compositions and arrangements of Carl Ferrari with the choreography of flamenco/contemporary dancer Ana Miranda.
