BYOI - Adult Acting & Improv Workshop
Bring Your Own Improv's Youth Collective Workshops have been a huge success. However many adults were asking for a workshop for them. So we have created an acting and improv workshop for 18-year-olds and older. This workshop will be focused both on acting skills and improv skills. It will utilize elements of the teachings of Spolin, Meisner and Adler.
Daniel Lee White will be the instructor for this workshop. Daniel Lee White is an award-winning director and actor with over 20 years of experience, including his feature film Cost of the Living, numerous plays, short films, commercials, and industrials. He is currently the Theatre Artist in Residence at the Trinity Academy for the Performing Arts and a producer and performer at Bring Your Own Improvan audience-participation improv comedy show. He also regularly directs performances at the Newport Playhouse. He lives in Rhode Island with his fantastic and supportive wife Kerri and their adorable dog Captain Jack Harkness.
