The oldest son of the famous La Familia Valera Miranda septeto, Kiki Valera is considered by many to be Cuba's greatest living cuatro player. He is also a multi-instrumentalist (tres, guitar, bass, keyboards & percussion), composer, arranger, sound engineer & producer. After 25 years of directing La Familia Valera Miranda in Santiago de Cuba, this amazing international recording artist has moved to Seattle, WA where he is currently working with a new lineup of talented musicians.

Kiki will be joined this evening by a special guest musician from Cuba, Jose Alayo on bass. This will be the first time these two friends have shared a stage in over 20 years & it should be a dynamite show! The rest of the all star lineup includes Joe de Jesus on vocals & congas (Buena Vibra Sextet), Pedro Vargas on bongos (former member of Barbarito Torres band of Buena Vista Social Club fame), Alfredo Polier on vocals & Javier Maru on guitar and vocals (Trio Cubay).
