Pink Tractor Farm - It's been a long cold Winter dinner.
It has been a long winter - what better way to celebrate the coming Spring than a farm to fork dinner with the PTF!
Chef/Farmer Dave is working on a menu that will include fresh items from the farm paired with foraged items from the island and preserved products from our bounty last summer.
We will start at 5pm, and will be putting the dessert course down by 8pm.
This time we are excited to partner with Palouse winery from right here on Vashon. http://www.palousewinery.com/
The menu as of today is listed below, this is subject to change slightly based on available ingredients.
* Red Floriani Corn Polenta Fries with Heirloom Tomato Jam * Salad of Smoked Trout, Baby Arugula and Charentais Melon Jelly * PTF Tomato Bisque * Lamb Fritter with Caponata * Duck Tacos with Hominy, Tomatillos Salsa and Blue Corn Tortillas * Curried Soldier Beans, Baked Hubbard Squash and Crispy Lamb Prosciutto * Apple Corn Cake with Quince and Caramel
