Winter's Passage
Cerimon House is proud to present a staged reading of an adaptation of Shakespeare's late-career romance "The Winter's Tale." This new play "Winter's Passage" is written by Jennifer Le Blanc, and is an epically-sized dreamscape focusing on the female story-lines of the characters Paulina, Hermione, and Emelia.
With a certain mystery and majesty, the darker corners of this notable story are illuminated, and the audience is asked to join the characters on a journey through several realms, finding the faith and forgiveness it requires to believe in the restoration and reunification of a family torn asunder.
We are thrilled to welcome playwright Jennifer Le Blanc back to Cerimon House after her wonderful past collaborations: Persuasion, The One You Feed, and Incidents in the Wicked Life of Moll Flanders.
TWO PERFORMANCES: * Monday, March 13th, 7:30pm. (Doors open at 7:00pm) * Tuesday, March 14th, 7:30pm. (Doors open at 7:00pm)
Directed by Randall Stuart, with a large collection of Portland's finest actors giving voice to the story.
