Mental Health First Aid - Adult - Rockingham County

This is a 2 day training. 4 hours each day. You are required to attend both days in order to receive certification.

February 27 starting at 9:00 a.m.to 2:00 p.m.
February 28 starting at 9:00 a.m.to 2:00 p.m.
Attendees will have 1-hour for lunch on their own from
11-Noon.

There will be 30 person max.

Both dates will be located at Cardinal Innovations Wellness Center in Eden, NC.

Mental Health First Aid is a groundbreaking education program that helps the public identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. The 8-hour training course is designed to provide members of the public important skills to assist someone who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis.

Mental Health First Aid training helps an individual assist someone experiencing a mental health crisis and is often compared to CPR training that helps a layperson without medical training assist an individual following a heart attack.
