Sam Lachow
Sam Lachow is a producer, songwriter, rapper, videographer, director, and editor of video and music. Raised in both Seattle and New York City he started making videos in elementary school, and as a seventh-grader began a group called Shankbone. Sam began directing and producing music videos with Shankbone, then went on to create videos for various other artists.
In 2011 Sam's debut album as a solo artist, Brand New Bike was entirely self produced. The next year he released 2 EPs, and produced/directed dozens of music videos from the projects on his YouTube channel, which now has over 4 million views.
Alongside Raz Simone, Sam is at the forefront of Seattle's Black Umbrella movement. He recently put out his second full length album Huckleberry, then shortly after released the 80 Bars EP. Both available at samlachow.com. In support of the projects Sam co-headlined a 29 city tour selling out shows across the country.
