St Catherine's Prep School PTA Lecture
Following the huge success of their last visit, St Catherine's Prep School PTA is delighted to announce The Parent Practice are coming back to give a parenting talk titled Never Have To Ask Twice.
This talk will be informative and give lots of practical tips and ideas, whether you have specific problems or are just facing the everyday challenges of bringing up children. It focuses specifically on children age 4-11 and will cover:
- Why children don't listen to parents taking into account brain development and emotional drivers - Understand what parents do that can exacerbate defiance and learned helplessness - What parents can do to help children follow instructions - A magical 3 stage approach to maximising cooperation
You'll come wondering why your children don't listen and we hope leave with practical techniques to speed you on your journey to never having to ask twice!
The talk will be led by Elaine Halligan of The Parent Practice. The Parent Practice hold parenting classes at their centres in Chelsea, Clapham ,Wimbledon, and Earlsfield and the team speak regularly in schools across London and Surrey.
The Prep School PTA Lecture is delivered free of charge thanks to your support of PTA events. Open to all Prep School parents.
Bar opens at 7.00pm, Lecture begins 7.30pm. Approximate finish time 9pm.
