Rhythm & Revelry: Symphony of the Redwoods Celebrates 30 Years this Season! Fall Concert Saturday, November 10, 8 pm Sunday, November 11, 2pm Cotton Auditorium, Fort Bragg Allan Pollack conducts the Symphony of the Redwoods' 30th Season opening concert with Saint-Saens, Dvorak and "Jazz, Tangos & Fiddling" with guest violinist Jeremy Cohen. Cohen, classically-trained and a student of Itzhak Perlman and Anne Crowden, has an eclectic style that reflects his respect for a wide range of violinists from Perlman & Fritz Kreisler to Joe Venuti and Eddie South. Winter Concert Saturday, February 2, 8pm Sunday, February 3, 2 pm Cotton Auditorium, Fort Bragg The celebration of Symphony of the Redwoods 30th Season continues with Allan Pollack conducting Rossini, Mozart's Clarinet Concerto with guest clarinetist Eric Kritz, and Beethoven's 7th Symphony. Spring Concert Saturday, April 6, 8pm Sunday, april 7, 2 pm Cotton Auditorium, Fort Bragg Elena Casanova, guest pianist, plays Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto #1, in this, the final concert of Symphony of the Redwoods' 30th Season. The program includes Brahms' Serenade #1, and The Dance of the Buffoons by Rimsky-Korsakov; Allan Pollack conducting.
