The Science of Comedy Workshop
If you believe some performers are just naturally funny and some aren't, you are 100% wrong! Anyone can achieve success in comedic performance and this workshop will explain why and how.
Learn how the brain processes information that leads people to find things funny. Explore applying the science and math of cognition to performance to result in successful comedic performance in any discipline of the performing arts as well as in writing and devised creation.
Award winning actor, director and playwright, Jeff Swearingen, widely known not only for his own comedic skills but for teaching and directing young actors to critical acclaim in comedic stage productions at Fun House Theatre and FIlm conducts this workshop comprised of some of the most unique curriculum being taught to young actors ( and other performers) today.

BONUS! Fun House Theatre and Film's long form improv troupe Unicorn Clearance will be performing following the workshop at 6:30p.m. Attendance is free for workshop students and Pay-What-You-Can at the door for the public.
