Hallowell Todaro ADHD & Learning Differences Resource Fair
Keynote Speaker: Dr. Ned Hallowell March 27th 5:30-9:00 Dr. Hallowell will be in Seattle at Town Hall March 27th, to talk to parents and educators about effective ways to intervene with students at school and at home who are struggling with ADHD and other potential learning challenges that may come along with it. Dr. Hallowell will focus his discussion around helping students, parents and teachers unwrap the gifts of each child while providing effective strategies and interventions that come from Hallowell's strength based approach to working with families and educators.
This is Seattle's first "Hallowell Todaro ADHD/Learning Differences Resource Fair" where educators, parents and students can come to learn about the many strength based services the Hallowell Todaro ADHD Center offers here in Seattle. Also joining us at the resource fair will be the Hamlin Robinson School, where students with Dyslexia and ADHD are served. Doors open at 5:30 for the resource fair where you will find: Therapists who specialize in various modalities such as play therapy, couples therapy, adolescents, child therapy and more... Executive Function Coaches and Parent Coaches Tutors Learning Specialists who specialize in 504 accommodations, IEP process, observations, program development and implementation, home support for homework daily school based routines, etc. Medication providers In-school services for students with ADHD Professional development educators and teachers in the areas of executive functioning, the developing brain and best practices and strategies for managing students with ADHD and and learning differences and improve overall performance Specialized workshops and Classes: Calm and Connected parent class series, Connection Project class series addressing the need for managing technology, and workshops on the adolescent brain and how it changes, conquering procrastination, and more Summer Programs College SAT/ACT prep classes and writing college essays The Hamlin Robinson School support services and summer programs
