Tingstad & Rumbel Holiday Concert
Our favorite holiday musicians will be returning to the Reserve for one performance only! Get your tickets before they're gone to see and hear the wonderful Tingstad and Rumbel, Grammy Award winners for their hit holiday album, "The Gift." When they play at Bloedel, their music complements our surroundings and fills our grounds and our hearts with the joy of the season. Mark your calendars and reserve your seats. It will be a wonderful way to welcome the holidays.
Tingstad and Rumbel's perfect blend of Americana finger-style guitar, double reeds, and the ocarina lend a magical sound to well-loved holiday favorites. Their first collaboration in 1985, The Gift, quickly became a holiday classic. Over their years, they have added to their holiday music discography with Comfort and Joy, Star of Wonder and Peace on Earth. Festive and reverent, solemn and lively, the repertoire Eric and Nancy bring to audiences year after year are perennial favorites that have been passed down through the ages.
Well-known throughout the United States, Tingstad & Rumbel won the Best New Age Grammy Award in 2003 in support of their CD Acoustic Garden, and their 2007 album, Southwest, was nominated for a Grammy.
