Production Lighting Workshop with Jayson Crothers
Digital HD has brought filmmaking to the masses, but not without some major hurdles. Our desire to capture film-like images can be thwarted by something as simple as an insufficient understanding of how to make lighting work for you.
On Saturday, October 27th, IFP/Phoenix invites you into the production studios of Collins College to participate in a mid-level workshop on lighting, led by professional Cinematographer, Jayson Crothers.
Jayson Crothers is an accomplished D.P., studying with and working with some the world's finest Cinematographers, including Wally Pfister, ASC, Rodrigo Prieto, ASC, AMC, Allen Daviau, ASC, and many others. He received his Masters of Fine Arts in Cinematography from the prestigious American Film Institute. While attending AFI, he was awarded their scholarship for Excellence in Cinematography.
This workshop is an excellent foundation for students and young filmmakers who want to bring the quality of their work to a professional level. Join us!
