Sphynx, White Girl and DIBIASE at Plush
Sphynx's elaborate and eccentric pop music has drawn comparisons to Passion Pit, Of Montreal and MGMT. Sphynx's debut album Human Beast has received rave reviews and the band has been touring and promoting since its February 2011 release. The band has had the opportunity to share stages with acts such as Of Montreal, Dr. Dog, Big Boi, Dan Deacon, Wallpaper and El Ten Eleven and has seen their music charting in the top 25 in major market radio stations in the U.S as well as Canada. They were also a featured band at this year's Bunbury Festival.
White Girl is the brain-child of Martin Bush, a dance infused pop romp through eternal fields of post punk grasses and rolling new wave hills. He is joined by Marc Pepperman (the Republic Tigers), Nick Organ (Beautiful Bodies, Various Blonde), Skyler McClun, and Matt Epstein.
