There is a treasure in my trash- Is recycling worth it?
Is recycling worth it?
Cine-Debat led by Dick Lilly from Seattle Public Utilities and Washington State Recycling Association (WSRA)

Screening of the French (w/ English sub) documentary "Ma Poubelle est un trésor" (There is a treasure in my trash) followed by a Q&A.

There is a treasure in my trash" showcases the urgency to reduce the amount and harmfulness of waste.
The 90 minute film focuses on finding alternate ways for disposal of waste. Is recycling a giant placebo that makes us feel virtuous but wastes both money and resources? Is it good for the environment? And does it make economic sense? And in Seattle what is recycling like?
