Make n' Take: Transfering the Image
Class Description: How can we bring the images from our iPhones, Instagram, and Facebook onto paper and away from the technology? In this workshop we will take a look at how we can use images from our phones or found print material to create a beautiful hand-made print. By using the methods of photography and printmaking with a little splash of this history you can learn a new process of creating imagery with texture. Through this simple process we can give an image a new value. In the class you will have the options to explore the grounds of Charles Allis Museum to gather new images or use the images supplied. In the end you will walk away knowing a new simple way to create hand-made cards, unique prints, or image collages.
